I’ve been spending a lot of time lately de-stressing with knitting and a George R. R. Martin audiobook. It’s been pretty awesome.
I love learning new stitches. It’s such a lovely feeling going from crumpling a pattern page in confused frustration to being able to toss it aside because you’ve memorized the chart.
Stay cool, guys.
oooooh…so hard to think about sweaters right now in this heat, but this is looking gorgeous and very snuggly!
Yeah I have no idea what’s going on in my head. Knitting and heat wave don’t intuitively go together..

Just gorgeous!! I also conquered cables this year. It was an awesome feeling. What pattern is this?
Thanks! And congrats! I spent most of my life thinking cables were the most complicated and difficult looking craft ever and that people who knitted them must be wizards. The pattern is Fisherman’s Daughter by Carol Sunday. So far I highly recommend it!

The stitching is so regular ! congratulations ! it’s beautiful =)
I unerstand the nonsense of sweater and heat.. I am doing a cashmere coat whereas it’s more than 30°C in Paris ^^ Madness
Thanks! Oh yikes, that totally sounds like something I would do. I found myself petting some wool blends at the fabric store last week!
This is so beautiful! I’m waiting for the cooler weather here before I get back to knitting. I never thought of audio books, though! That’s such a good idea, since I obviously can’t read a knitting pattern and a book at the same time (which is upsetting)!
