Hello friends!

Well it’s been a minute.

Actually it’s been six and a half years to be more accurate. Oops!

I wasn’t really intending to take a blogging break, but it just sort of happened for lots of reasons that came one after another and then suddenly years had gone by and I kind of forgot how to log into my WordPress account.

To sum up the last several years:

Crafting-wise, I’ve gone down the fiber rabbit-hole and the rabbit-hole is deep. I currently own two spinning wheels (in my defense I’m supposed to sell one and am stuck in indecision over which one to sell) and have a 40″ loom taking over half my living room. My current dream is to spin wool to weave fabric with to sew something with. More on that to come. I did also buy some cotton seeds because that’s not insane, but so far have had zero success due to the vibrant bunny population in our backyard getting ahold of my seedlings. So then I switched to buying and processing raw fleeces, which is also totally normal.

Personal-life wise, we’ve got two kiddos now! M and C are 5 and 2 and both about to start school (kindergarten and nursery) so mama’s about to have a little more free time. We keep them off social media (for privacy reasons and also for avoiding turning into a mom-blog reasons) so they won’t really be making appearances here. We’ve also moved back to Boston! Turns out California is super expensive and Boston is cheaper.

Moving forward, I’m hoping to catch up on some stuff I’ve been working on and document some upcoming projects. In the meantime I’ll leave you with a few photos of my latest weaving project, which is what will probably be my last baby wrap since C is almost 2.5 and an independent woman and probably won’t let me wrap her for much longer.

More soon! I’ve missed this.
